Good morning from Minneapolis! Our team (pictured below) departed from Grace Baptist Church yesterday at 4:30 and made it to Sioux Falls for a very short night's sleep (4 hours--yuck). We've seen God's hand at work in our short journey thus far. Adventure is on our heels! It took us a very long time to get checked in at the airport. Because they were running so far behind, 3 of our extra bags and the extra weight in our suitcases were passed through free of charge! We blazed through security, cutting in line, and ran, belts in hand for some, to our plane. We were scheduled to depart at 5:10 and we boarded the plane at 5:08! Phew! We were told that if we had missed that flight, we would not have made it to New York today due to the backups from the weather in Mpls the day before. We are catching our breath along with some coffee and breakfast before flying to New York and then on to Santiago, Dominican Republic where are scheduled to arrive in Santiago at 12 am (10 pm our time).
PRAYER ALERT: Please pray that our luggage would follow us all the way through to the Dominican Republic. Pray for continued peace and growth for our team.

Yep. This TSA guy opened every. single. tote. And every single box. And dumped out every. single. bottle. |
