Sunday Worship

Worship and praise for our Lord Jesus Christ was amazing.  We were blessed to be part of Sunday worship at Primera Iglecia Bautista de Central de Santiago.    

"Pour out your heart like water before the presence of the Lord!

Lift your hands to him for the lives of your children,

who faint for hunger

at the head of every street."

A mission team from Grace Baptist Church traveled to Santiago last February.  The team took six sewing machines to Primera Iglecia Bautista de Central de Santiago and taught the women of the church how to sew.  The women of the church have, in turn, taught young girls and their mothers from the neighboring barrio how to sew.  

The banners below were sewn during the February trip by both the women of Grace and the women of Primera Iglecia Bautista de Central de Santiago and hang in the worship center.

For as in one body we have many members, and the members do not all have the same function, so we, though many, are one body in Christ, and individually members one of another.  Romans 12: 3-5

Our mission team has two sets of fathers traveling with their sons.  God-willing this time together for them in the Dominican Republic will be a time of bonding and drawing nearer to the Lord.

'Tis a great thing to be a dad.  An assignment given by God's grace in which we shepherd our families in the same way the Father shepherds us.  A task that relies solely on the grace of God.  Grace on top of grace.  We are thankful that these men and their sons were able to join us on this team.  It is great to see families stepping out in faith and glorifying God in the Dominican Republic!
