Sharing the Gospel Through Vacation Bible School

God blessed us with the resources and the ability to present Vacation Bible School for three days at Iglesia Bautista Central.  We were able to reach out and share the gospel with about 150 children from the neighboring barrio called The Hole.  You can read about our first day of Vacation Bible School here.

The children were all eager and excited each morning to join in on games, crafts and story time... some may think that we were a blessing to these sweet children of God but I think our team would agree that these sweet little children were truly blessings to all of us.

Games

Preparing to play a game of pato, pato, ganso (duck, duck, goose).

Pato, pato, ganso ended up being one of the children's favorite games.

Having some fun during a break.

Waiting patiently in the shade for the next game.

The girls talked Stacy into a game of hopscotch... lots of fun and laughs.

Crafts

One of the craft projects we made with the kids told them about Jesus dying on the cross at Calvary.  Paper plates were cut into a shape to resemble a hill and three crosses were glued onto the plate.  The two black crosses represented sin while the red cross in the center represented the blood of Jesus that washed away our sins.

Jesus murió por nuestros pecados... Jesus died for our sins.
